چکیده
The paper reviews some of the mechanisms implicated in hepatotoxicity, which is induced by an excess lipids. spans a wide variety topics: from molecular lipids, to therapy hyperlipidemia, hepatotoxicity lipid-lowering drugs. NAFLD currently leading cause chronic liver disease Western countries; are only partially understood and there no effective therapeutic interventions. prevalence constantly increasing industrialized countries due number lifestyle variables, including excessive caloric intake, unbalanced diet, lack physical activity, abuse hepatotoxic medicines. Considering important functions cell death inflammation etiology majority, if not all, diseases, one efficient treatment may include administration hepatoprotective anti-inflammatory drugs, either alone or combination. Clinical trials being conducted cohorts patients with different diseases order explore this theory.
